Ouaga!

A little insight to where I am based, because not many people have even heard of the country Burkina Faso. I am living in the capital which is called Ouagadougou (Wagadoogoo). First thing you’ll notice is how dusty it is, there’s not many paved roads or paths and everyone is on a motorbike. Literally when I’m in a taxi across town, throughout the journey I can’t really breathe or see because there is so much dust in the air and we can’t wind up the windows as there is no lever, oh and no seat belts either! It takes a while to adjust, now I just cover up and wear glasses all the time. So here are a few snaps for you all, in and around Ouaga:

The park all volunteers went to on our second week in. We played football, had dancing competitions and walked around the lake to try find some crocodiles!
